Blue Spring PrecipROTM zero discharge water recycling system distinguishes itself from other wastewater treatment systems and  other zero discharge systems in terms of  its extra-ordinary efficiency in recycling water,  in removal of precipitable chemicals,  and its extra-ordinary cost-effectiveness. Typical water recoveries are 95-98% and in some cases, almost 100%, without fouling the reverse osmosis membranes.  Metal ions removal is almost 100%.  With Blue Spring's PrecipROTM patented zero discharge closed-loop water recycling systems,  now it is possible to recycle water for less than what it costs to purchase fresh water and then discharge it to the environment, in the polluted form, in most pollution conscious localities.

The quality of recycled water according to Blue Spring PrecipROTM zero discharge closed-loop rinse water recycling system is better than the quality of the incoming raw water in most cases. Such rinse water quality is generally more than adequate for rinsing parts.  When higher purity rinse water is required, two environmentally friendly enhancements are available from Blue Spring Corporation.  With our secondary RO unit, the rinse water quality can be upgraded to 1-5 mg/L TDS level. With our latest EDI enhancement, resistivities  of 1 - 4 megaohm.cm can be achieved without the use of de-ionizing resins.

Factory-assembled, Plug-n-Go modules are available in 1 gpm to 20 gpm ( 4 lpm - 72 lpm) standard capacities. Larger systems  in capacities up to 130 gpm (500 lpm) are shipped in factory-assembled modules which can be easily inter-connected on site.  Factory-assembled modules save installation time, installation space, installation costs and they eliminate installation errors.

ecycled water quality usually better than incoming city water quality

Use secondary RO option,  for upgrading rinse water purity in the range of 1-5 ppm. or use EDI option,  for upgrading rinse water purity in the range of 1 - 4 megaohm.cm

Use  EV Series evaporator if the hauling costs for the brine discharge from PrecipRO unit are too high.  The brine is non-hazardous, because metal ions have been removed.  Air-quality permit should not be required to operate evaporator, in most localities. 

Recycled water usually costs less than city water, when costs of annual permits, discharge fees, sampling and analysis and occasional penalties are considered.
